well it does, but only in cross band mode.
so if you had two TM V71's, you could have full duplex.
but you'd have to have everyone using them have dual band radios as well
that could receive on one band while transmitting on the other...most HT's
can't do this, even the dual band HT's.
We run full duplex on one of our local repeaters sometimes between VHF and
UHF...but all operators have to have a radio that can receive on one band
while transmitting on the other, and we all have to know which band the
person talking is transmitting on so we can key up on the other band so he
can hear what we say while he's listening and talking...of course, you have
to deal with the cross band echo as well between the repeaters and so on,
but it's very neat.
