I stumbled upon a brnadnew Catholic audio Bible that uses the RSV-CE 
text (Ignatius Bible). Information on this can be found at:




At this point, only the ddramatized NT has been released 
.  Apparently release of the complete RSV-CE Bible as dramatized 
audio is planned but no rrelese date for the complete Bible has 
been  finalized yet.

I am very  excited about this. The RSV remains one of my favorite 
Bible translations  and it also is one of the few translations 
recognized and accecpted across denominational lines. Zondervan, a 
traditionally Protestant Bible publisher, is putting out the "Truth 
and Life" audio Bible.

I hope this Bible can be enjoyed by both Protestants and catholics 
alike and i look forward to studying the bible together with our 
Catholic Brohters and sisters in Christ!
