I'd asked about iPhone apps almost a week ago - my apologies for not sending a summary sooner. Thank you SO much to everyone who responded!

Kathy

* Delight Gluten Free Magazine has its own app: http://delightglutenfree.com/digital

* Gluten Free Registry (I got a number of recommendations for this one; apparently their mobile site is very robust as well if you do not want a full app.)

* Is that Gluten Free?

* I Can Eat On the Go - was actually NOT recommended; was described as "disappointing."

* GlutenFree Travelsite (www.glutenfreetravelsite.com) has a robust mobile site as well - no need for an Apple product!

* Gluten Freed

* Allergy Eats

* GF Card - includes info in several languages

* Food Essentials - utilizes scanning capability to return info about products

* Gluten Free Groceries from Triumph Dining

* ICanEat - also from Triumph Dining

I was also directed to this article on About.com:

http://celiacdisease.about.com/od/sociallifestyleresources/tp/Gluten-Free-Iphone-Apps-To-Help-You-Shop-Eat-Out.htm

and this app was suggested in case I wanted to avoid GMO foods:

ShopNoGMO
