Hi All, 

I bought mine in July of 2007 and have never had a bit of trouble with it.  

I agree, it is a fantastic radio.  In my opinion it speaks more and better
than the 480 although that is also a great radio.

I don't know why the attachment did not come through, but it did not.
Well, I have the Kenwood TM-D710A, and like you, I really do like it!
The sad thing is that I just mailed it to Kenwood repair as, for some
unknown reason, it has lost its sensitivity.
A 60 over 9 signal could not break the squelch.
Now that's bad!
I have had it for about 1/2 years I think.  I bought as soon as they were
released.
Anyhow, I'm know I will be glad to get back working correctly.
Meanwhile, I will just use the VHF- UHF on the TS-2000.
