Hi Buddy,
I almost bought a Ten-tec Argonaut the 20 watt qrp rig before they stopped
making it.
I had planned on reading the led or lcd with an Optacon.
I'm glad I have the rigs I've got now instead.
My first rig as a novice was a Ten-Tec Triton. I used to use the Optacon
lenses to read the frequency display.
I wish more of the modern rigs had led's instead of lcd's. These were really
easy to read with an Optacon.
I'm thinking of bringing one of the qrp rigs to the convention. Probably the
Yaesu it's smaller than the Icom.
Cathy is studying for her Tech license. Maybe she'll have it before Orlando.
Have a great weekend.
73,
Eric
