Okay, how much did you pay for it, and what else can you tell me about the 
unit?  I'm not sure at this point whether or not to get my F6A serviced or 
not.  When I turn it on there is that high pitched beep that comes on in 
addition to the usual low pitched tone that comes when you power the unit 
up.  Also, it will receive absolutely nothing, and I've tried a few 
different antennas.
    I got this unit at Christmas 2001 so I've had it going on 10 years now. 
Hard to believe that I first got my technician's license in 2001 and have 
renewed it once already!
