lol, yes Tom.

My XYL or YL as I refer to her when she's in ear shot, has no desire to get 
licensed.  She thinks it's nerdy and obsscelete in the extreme...of course, 
sitting there with her IPhone permanently attached to her hand isn't nerdy 
at all...it's normal apparently.
A squawking radio in a restaurant is apparently rude and uncooth, but 
ignoring everyone around you to check face book, email and send and receive 
text messages is perfectly acceptible lol.
I keep trying to tell her that her IPhone is a radio too, just with a 
different interface than mine.  She doesn't buy it for some reason.

Ah the young generation, what are we to do with them?
