Well:

I've tried both Jaws and WE to interface with MTTY and all I'm getting is still garbage.
I tuned across RTTY signals vary slowly and the spoken text, didn't change to english.
I even tuned far enough away where my ears didn't detect any tones what so ever, CW included but the garbage was stilled scrolled on the screen and spoken.
Does this mean that audio hiss, crashes and other background noise is being read and translated into text?
I even switched my rig to CW to bring in the narrowest filter and it still didn't change anything.
It only changed when I switched in the notch filter. The text was no longer announced once cleared. This is of course normal as a notch filter's purpose is to cancel out tones! LOL
I'm now wondering if my rig can't go narrow enough for effective RTTY. Sounds like it although others are using my type of rig vary affectively for digital modes and are have allot of success with it.
