    That is indeed strange, Butch.

What rig were you using, and are you sure it's set up ok?  In other words, 
check your power level, mic gain, etc..  I could tell you were in there, but 
I would have expected your signal to be stronger, especially since I worked 
the North Cars guy in Nebraska with no problem.
