I have had two of the Gap Eagle vertical antennas and they use no ground 
raidials as they have three pretty long counter poise rods.  I talked all 
over the world on these antennas.  All of us hams have had our own 
experiences and some of them worked for us and some did not.   I do not put 
down anything that has worked for another ham but it might not work for me.
