Subject: After Xmas Contest


                                                 SECOND ANNUAL AFTER XMAS
CONTEST

    For all those who Received a New Transceiver / Handheld or Amplifier for
Xmas.


    You are invited to Participate in the 2ND Annual International after
XMAS / Kerr-Chunk the Repeater or Request a Radio Check Contest:

    Contest Period:   2400z Dec 25TH 2009  thru  2400z Dec. 26th 2009


    Contest Objective:
    1. To Piss off as many of your fellow Hams as Humanly possible

    2. VHF UHF
        Kerr-Chunk as many Repeaters as possible within the prescribed
operating period.

    3. HF 160-6 Meters
        Request as many Radio checks as humanly possible within the
prescribed operating period.

    4. Conduct as Long an Amplifier Tune up as possible trying to destroy
those New Tubes (Transistorized Final or Automatic Tune Amps are Prohibited
)

    5. Antenna testing is Verboten (not allowed)

    Bands of Operation: All bands especially the WARC Bands !

    Classes of operation:
    Those who participate in this event have no Class (no insults are
expressed or implied )

    Scoring:
    1 point for each Repeater Ker-Chunk VHF UHF only no talking allowed  (
only 5 Kerr-Chunk's per repeater can be logged)
    1 point Per Requested Radio check  All Bands and Modes of Operation

    Multipliers:
            13   points for every Minute Spent tuning up a Tube Final
Amplifier
            50   points for every Minute Spent tuning up a Tube Final
Transceiver
            100 points for every Minute Spent tuning up a Transistorized
Final Transceiver
            FM   2 points for ever QSO you can Sucker someone in to

            SSB 3 points for ever QSO you can Sucker someone in to  / or 10
points for every 5  min or longer QSO to adjust your Audio quality
            CW  5 points for ever QSO you can Sucker someone in to /  or 15
points for every 5  min or longer QSO eliminating Clicks & Chirps
            500 points for blowing up those Very Expensive Metal Ceramic
Tubes /1000 points for XYLs who sit back and Laugh

    Awards: Non Just your Participation is Entertaining Enough

    Contest Exchange: Non Needed refer to item #1

    Log Submissions:

    Only ADIF. or Cabrillo2 ADIF. File formats accepted no Paper Logs
accepted ( Lets be Green & Save a Tree)
