I have to share this.
I was shopping in Albertson's (and for those of you that don't have
Albertson's, they're a grocery store chain in California) On their
intercom, there was a recorded message about Celiac disease and gluten-free
items that they carry. It was at least 2 or 3 minutes long. It talked
about their gluten-free products and how if you're looking for something
gluten-free, talk to anyone in their store and they'll point out the
gluten-free items in the store. In the end it mentioned one of the Celiac
associations, but I'm afraid I can't remember which one it was. I was
totally shocked that they did this. It felt so main stream.
Happy New Year.
