Here again, we're left with a solution that costs $$$ when most other
folks can just open their wallets and see what they have. There is a
possibility that these types of solutions will leave us dependent upon
a pocketful of expensive gadgets and still not come any closer to the
real equality implied and expressed by the Americans with Disabilities
Act.
Continuous redesign of currency will mean the necessity for updates,
and though the IPhone doesn't need a service contract to function as a
money identifier, it will need a service connection for "free
downloads" of updates. This goes for any device, be it an IPhone or a
SmartPhone...
