Hi Everyone,
I sometimes have received the book error 3 message on books downloaded from
NLS. I have deleted the affected books and downloaded them again and they
work fine. I have also downloaded several described movies from System
Access Mobile Network and received the book error 3 message at the end of
every movie. However, all of the movies have played to the end. Based on my
experiences, I am not convinced that the problem is with my SD card. I have
never had problems with data corruption involving the x-ray equipment at
airports. That being said, I too use flash drives for more permanent
storage.

One point of clarification in light of Harry's posting:
While he and I agree on the fragility of sd cards, I use them for their
convenience. The point for me is not to view them as a means of
permanently housing anything. That's how I believe they are intended to
be used.
That way, when one goes bad, you avoid having a real problem other than
lmaking certain that you have another available card.
I think we all feel for AnneMarie's frustration as almost everyone at some
point has experienced something similar -- and these things seem to happen
when one is far away from the original source material.
To place ourselves in range of God's choicest gifts, we have to walk with
God, work
with God, lean on God, cling to God, come to have the sense and feel of God,
refer
all things to God.
