Hi all!
I just recently "experienced" some information, which I feel may be
useful to readers of the list...just so we all remember that unusual
symptoms could be nearly ANY thing.
While installing a motherboard, Masonic, jumperless, P133 CPU no MMx,
average SVGA card:
Symptoms: No video, Power Supply power up ok, CPU/board signals the
keyboard (so allegedly all parts work)
What could it be you ask???
The power supply was getting ready to die.
(And then it did)
This was all new parts, just another bad day.
I spent time on the phone with Tech Support at the motherboard suppliers,
and I was ready to get an RMA, If I hadn't decided to switch to a bigger
case, the board would be on its way back.
Hope this posting saves a few hassles.
