Does dhcpcd.1.3.6 work with the 2.0.34 kernel? If so, then this is clearly a
problem with the 2.1.106 kernel. If not, it's probably still a kernel problem,
but we can't say so for sure. "Kernel" in this case includes, of course, any of
the networking libraries, and related software (bind libs, etc.).
