Hello...
We have a WAN... OS/2 server and WinNT 4.0 workstations... We are using
IBMGina to bridge the two applications... We have 2 interesting problems
and would appreciate any help the list can offer.
First... Some of our clients are experiencing network drive connection
replications.. Meaning... if, for instance, the client script file connects
5 drives.. after the client logs in and does any work that is saved to the
network, the client will now have 7 drives... complete with new letters...
and.. those drives will be exact copies of the one of the original 5... It
is happening to clients using IBMGina.. and the few who are not using
IBMGina.. They are not making manual drive connections.... It **just**
happens..
Second... We have a client who is unable to save to any network shares when
using WORD or Cardfile.... The client can save documents created in Excel,
PowerPoint, and Access... The client receives an error message that **the
drive is full.. free up some space and try again.**.. But... space is not
the problem, because all of our clients point to the same share and the
rest can save ... This problem seemed to appear around the same time the
replicating drive connection problem came into being... Any suggestions..
and do you think these problems may be connected in some way?
thanks for you help..
