You might want to check your bios settings and verify that the drive's
parameter's are correct. I had this happen to me once when I had the
jumpers set incorrectly for slave mode. After much troubleshooting and
regression I discovered that this was the prob. I had to go back to
fdisk and delete all of the partitions,etc... and reformat. After I
jumpered the correct pins as slave bios reflected the correct settings
and everything was business as usual. Fat 32x was no more!
