Little Everett had a lot of visitors, including some friends of his, so
Saturday was a busy day for him. That helped him sleep a large portion of
today, Sunday, although,he had a few visitors but went back to sleep when
they left. Tomorrow he goes to the rehab hospital and gets checked in.
Something unique is that he said to his mom, "Maybe, when I get completely
well, I could go to school and learn how to help people like me." His one
eye still has double vision and they began giving him shots in the stomach
for blood thinning which, Sandy said, is standard protocol for brain
injuries as the patient progresses. He has been wearing his own clothing
and tonight he ran the nurse's microwave to heat up two burritos; operating
the buttons and timing and everything without help. The rehab hospital will
have some family intervention classes for the whole family to learn how to
help him, meaning what to do for further improvement once home, and what not
to do.

Phil.
