He was sedated today and went for an MRI. That was earlier in the afternoon
and since they didn't take him for surgery, or change anything, they likely,
after comparing x-rays, CT scans, and this MRI, feel there is no further
danger unless, of course, something pops up unexpectedly. They like getting
folks out of that expensive ICU as soon as possible, of course, and into a
normal room so we are hoping he will soon have just that; his own room.
They are also doing all these things to be able to remove his neck and head
brace and restraints. Gretchen spoke to a Commander at the police
department today and he said he could not figure out why they were saying it
wouldn't be investigated because it is and it was since it happened.
Everett said his complete alphabet today for the nurse when asked and spoke
to others including his mom when he saw her after opening his eyes. I feel
the Lord said he is going to be ok. I don't know what ok means but it means
normal to me, although that may take awhile. I'll report again tonight if
something changes or is new. The house feels empty without him.
Phil.
