The New York City Celiac Meetup Group will host the sixth annual Evening with the Paul Taylor Dance Company to benefit the Celiac Disease Center at Columbia University on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at New York City Center. The 7pm performance, featuring three dances by Paul Taylor – Company B, Phantasmagoria and Promethean Fire – will be preceded by a gluten-free pizza party for special ticket-holders provided by Palà Pizza from 5:45 to 6:45pm in the theater’s second floor lobby. Gluten-free beer will also available from Bard's Beer.

Gift bags will be given to all reception attendees. The gift bags will contain Glow Gluten Free cookies, brownies from Foods by George and Celiebo gluten-free dining cards in various languages.

The program: Company B, Phantasmagoria, and Promethean Fire.

The series of performances, begun in 2004, was created by Alan Olshan, the Taylor Company’s Director of Marketing, who has celiac disease.

Tickets for the evening are $300, $135, $75 and $25. A portion of each ticket benefits the Celiac Disease Center at Columbia University when the buyer mentions code CDC at the City Center box office (55th Street between 6th and 7th Avenues) or when calling CityTix, 212.581.1212; or entering promo code 6586 at http://www.nycitycenter.org/tickets/ReserveSingle.aspx?performanceNumber=5854.
