i recall when i was ten, in 1965/66 the hong kong flu hit my whole family,
but not me. I was opening cas of campbells soups, heating them, then getting
my dad, who took bowls to my sister, my mom and himself. that was a nasty
one. my sister can't take the shots she's allergic to sulfer.

i do not know about guessing right this year but he is certainly right about
complexity in their predictions. i get the shot every year. even if they
guess wrong and miss one, why let a strain they guessed right on get you and
weaken you so the one they missed can really do a job on you? take the shot.
