Outlook Express was getting your Email from somewhere, your ISP or
Email provider of choice -- Is there any chance that your settings
including addresses are stored there? For example, many web mail
programs make an entry in an addressbook if you have settings in that
mode.

Also, can you export Outlook Express files to Windows Live temporarily
and then convert in some other format from Windows Live?  Just trying
to think about work around that might be a few more steps but that
could work.
