How lovely that Amazon is maintaining approximately the same standards
for their Kindle Mac client as for the PC one. I did get the client
downloaded and I think I read some help, but nuttin else.

Subject: [VICUG-L] disappointing kindle for mac beta app and iphone app:
all;
Amazon has released a beta version of the kindle for mac app. When I
went to:
http://www.amazon.com/kindleformac
using my mac, there was no way to download the app. I used windows to
download it and when I installed it by dropping the app into my apps
folder and running it, all I found with voiceover was the word
register. No matter what I did, I could not go further.
The results with the iphone app are not quite so bad, there, you can
install the app but not read any content.
