  A Java set-up window has been spontaneously appearing on my PC, which asks
me if I'm sure I want to cancel the installation of  JAVA (see below).

  I suppose it could be useful to install JAVA, but I don't know how to
answer the question about my wanting to cancel its installation.  Has anyone
on the list figured out the meanings of the available responses, "Yes" and
"No"?

  A brief  explanation of Java's helpfulness precedes the appearance of what
I was able to copy below, but it disappears along with the possibility of
choosing "Install" that it momentarily seems to offer.
