Subject: Ham Nation Idea
Hi, all.
Well, thanks to the "heads up" from Harvey, I just got done listening to the
first Ham Nation podcast on the history of ham radio.
http://twit.tv/hn
What a fascinating program!
I'll check out the one on emergency communications when I get the time here.
All of this brings me to an idea:
I think it would be neat to have a program on ham radio and people with
disabilities. The program could feature how people with disabilities can
become hams, and perform some of the valuable services in which we become
involved.
I might propose this to Bob Heil, and see what his reaction might be.
Would there be an interest in helping out with such a thing?
Obviously, we'd want to get Pat Tice and the folks from Handihams in on the
whole thing.
Just a thought.
