Hi Michael,
I still haven't hooked mine up to the computer. I will try to do that this
week or weekend though just to give you an idea if it's accessible or not.
I will also gladly send you a copy of the program to look at.
As far as what it will do or not do through CAT and/or the software, I am
going to ask a friend of mine who is using his as a remote if it's OK to
provide you with his address. If he says yes, I'll send that along and he
would be a very good one to ask.
I'll let you know soon.
Take care for the moment and very 73.
Kevin :)

Hi Kevin:=20
Just a couple of quick questions on your amp if I may:=20
Do you have it programmed to automatically power on/off, auto band =
switch and tune your antennas when you power on and off the exciter?=20
What connection do you use? I think your using a TS-590 so was wondering =
if you use some sort of 9pin serial connection to the amp.=20
I run a Yaesu and I was wondering if the same can be carried out with =
the Yaesu's 10 pin data connection. I have the serial port on my rig in =
use for the remote.=20
My XYL and I are looking into purchasing a weekend cottage of sorts and =
I'm going to try and convince her to hide a 1K in the mortgage MISC =
fund! LOL.=20
We're looking at a place now that may take about 10000 to 15000 in =
renovations, so perhaps I might be able to add a 1-K in there! LOL=20
I also was wondering if it would be possible to have a look at the PC =
control software to see how blind friendly it is or perhaps you could =
install and test it.=20
TNX & 73:=20
Michael De VO1RYN=20
P S=20
I'm up and running now if a sched might be possible dwn the road on 40M. =
You might be able to make the trip to the north east coast of Canada.=20
