Steve:
Thanks for the info on the DX window.
Never knew that before.
Is there a similar DX window on 160 for SSB operation?
Remember, you are my official contest elmer, and I'm still in basic learning
mode here! (smile)
So, any hints you or the others on the list can give me are most
appreciated.

Tom,
I think you are putting too much stock in the need to burn the midnight
oil in order to have success on 160. By 10 P.M. local time Friday
night, I'd worked as far to the southwest as Mexico and Arizona, and as
far to the east as Portugal and Canary Islands.
You are a bit further west than I am, but not a tremendous amount. 160
DX from Europe can start hitting the east coast in early evening, just
a matter of being in the right place at the right time. No need to
lose your beauty sleep. While DX can pop up anywhere, check the DX
window between 1.820 and 1.825.
