Hi Tom,

To be honest with you, I got tired of Norton causing problems and switched
to AVG several years ago and am totally happy.  It doesn't seem to bother
any of Scott's software in terms of CW generation whatsoever.

I'm sure I'll get it one way or the other here.

Fortunately, my XYL is sighted if I really can't make it happen on my own, 
but that is the last resort, of course.

Try finding it under your programs menu then.  I don't know if
Norton/Symantek is accessible enough for you, but if you use your Jaws
cursor, you might be able to find a suspend protection option.
