Well, thanks for the correction, and the very good information.

If I can't get my dipoles to work better here, I may actually consider one 
of them as well, although I am not sure it will be helpful for the NVIS work 
I'd like to do, especially on 75, 80, and 160 meters.

Tom and Chris,

Unlike many other verticals, the Titan doesn't require radials.  That
antenna is actually called a vertical dipole.  I think that means that the
antenna is center fed, as opposed to being fed from the base like most other
verticals.  In addition to not needing radials, the antenna is supposed to
be quite flat over much of its coverage area.  I'm interested in finding out
more about the Gap antennas, so I'm looking forward to hearing any reports.
