	If you have some calcium grease, you might put a small
amount on the ball bearings that are in the rear mount of the
band switch. 

	You'll need to slide off the case to get to that, but it
is really open right there. Right where the rear mount of the
band switch is, you will feel the bearings trapped under a flat
spring. You don't have to disassemble the band switch at all.
Just apply a little of the grease to the bearings and work the
knob a few times.

	Also, you might need some tuner cleaner on the wafer
contacts but go gently as they are kind of delicate.

	They probably didn't start out delicate, but they are
now old.
