Hi all:
I run an HF remote but the only remote capable mode right now is phone. I'm trying to find away to access digital modes, (PSK-31) using Digipan, through Microsoft Remote Desktop.
I use Window Eyes 6.1 which has provisions for Microsoft Remote Desktop, with full speech support. Jaws also has this capability with a purchasable add on.
The problem is, when I remote desktop in to my rig controlling PC, when I open Digipan, I receive the notification that my sound card is in use or doesn't exist.
Now I have my Windows set to use the default soundcard and my ham stuff, to use my USB interface, which has a built in soundcard. Skype works with the USB no problems, Digipan does as well but only one program at a time can use the USB interface but when Microsoft Remote Desktop comes into play, none of the programs get to use the device. All audio is fed back to the client. It has to inorder for me to get speech to use the remote PC.
Any Ideas for a work around?
