Any information or scripts for HRD will be very much appreciated here also.

One of our club members did a demo about a year ago and I was very intrigued
with it. I think it could be really terriffic were it accessible.

Subject: Ham Radio Deluxe and Jaws

Does anyone have any Jaws scripts for Ham Radio Deluxe or do you know where
I could find some?

If not, does anyone have any HRD accessibility tips or experiences to share?
I looked in the likely places, including HandiHams and a search via Google
but didn't find much.

I just bought a Flex Radio 1500 software defined radio. I have the Flex
PowerSDR software running and have basic receive and changing frequency
working but there's a lot more that isn't easy to get to without using the
mouse. I started writing Jaws scripts for PowerSDR but realized that HRD
can control the Flex 1500. I loaded HRD v5 and set up some virtual serial
cables between HRD and the Flex Radio PowerSDR software. So far so good.
HRD controls the Flex 1500 but again, HRD isn't very accessible. I'd like
to see if I can leverage any accessibility progress that has already been
made on HRD rather than scripting PowerSDR from scratch.

Software defined radio is really great for those of us who are blind hams.
The Flex 1500 has no controls other than a power button. Everything is
controlled via the PC. Once the accessibility issues are resolved, I think
we'll have full access to everything in the SDR radios. Very cool.
Thanks in advance for any and all comments and I'll be glad to share any
progress.
