    Lloyd and all:

Good luck with the blind ops net over the next few weeks.

I will be traveling this coming week, but hopefully, after that, I'll be
able to round up the antenna help I need to get some things up and running
at the Michigan QTH.

I'll keep everyone posted, and I promise to resume doing my share of net
control operations as we get into the Fall months.

I did a little bit of the NAQP CW contest yesterday, using the screw-driver
antenna and 100 watts in our motor home, but, due to a problem with my N3FJP
logging software, I just ended up giving points, rather than competing in a
serious way.

For the record, I found conditions on 20 meters to be typical late Summer
time conditions, so we know things can only get better as we progress into
the Fall.

Thanks, and 73 from Tom Behler: KB8TYJ

Subject: Net August 8

I had W3MC over here to start working on my antenna. It is now pointed west
once again, rather than north. It will be 5.5 elements for several more
weeks.

So I will attempt to call the net at 2000Z on 14258.00 KHz. If others show
up and we can hear each other, we might run for more than ten minutes. But
otherwise, I don't want to tie up the frequency unnecessarily. I can do
this again on the 15th and the 29th of August, but not the 22nd.

I hope to hear some of you there.
