Walt,

It sounds like your VOX got turned on.  I did the same thing by accident. 
Try hitting function 5 and that should turn it off.

Hi Guys,
I have gotten my THF6A in some kind of mode and it is transmitting a pulse
and whenever I try and put it on a  receive channel like the weather, it
goes off like a pulsing alarm.  I must have caused it and now I need help
getting  it back to normal.  73
