    Steve:

No smoke!

The ham set-up and antenna are actually rather far from the TV, and I'm
convinced the RF is getting in through the electrical lines.

I say this because we have cable internet, phone, and tv, and my operating
doesn't interfere with the phone or internet at all.

Tom,

I may be wrong, but I don't think that antenna has a balun normally,
although I think it can be had as an option. A choke or balun isn't
necessarily the answer to everything, but is usually easy to implement and
worth a shot. How close the antenna is to the TV, or cable, or wiring
is a problem many of us have to deal with. The house is here and the
antenna has to go here due to any number of limitations and circumstances.
Hope you didn't smoke anything.
