Hi;
As for the indoor antenna, a mag mount and a file cabinet or any peace 
of metal should do the trick.  If only hf was as easy.
Secondly, I am told that the ict90 was discontinued about a year ago. 
Some of us just don't keep up.  Was it replaced with anything exciting? 
  Anyone know anything more about the handheld that kenwood is 
supposedly coming out with to replace the thf6a?
