Hi
     Actually, as far as the antenna tuner goes, I have both the inboard 
tuner on the rig and a second out board tuner. I am a strong believer in 
tuners.
     There are two reasons I would like to get the antenna close to 
resonance. First is for maximum power transference. The second is that I 
have read that one can reduce RFI by having a resonant antenna. So, I 
thought it would be fun to try.
