Is the coax alright and are you sure about it? if it's a wire antenna, is 
there a ballun and is it close to the meter or power supply? that shouldn't 
have an effect but I'm not going to say it can't. Make sure your coaxes are 
alright, moving the meter should *not* change the swr unless you have a coax 
failing, bad connector, something.
