The time I did it, I did put gloves on, but made sure to use a very long 
pole to keep me far far from any nest I may hit. If you're going to react to 
a bunch of bees or something, you sure don't want to do it on a ladder I 
know someone who got hurt pretty bad that way. You might even, as I did the 
time I did it, water down the gutters, just soak them with a garden hose, 
that will keep the problem down some too.
Dipoles on an arc, sure why not I'm doing it.
