Steve it has been a long time since I got mine but I had a friend install 
the filter which is soldered in and he had to use a mag glass.  My X Y L 
helped me install the voice mod.  The two jacks on front are the Paddel and 
the right one is for Ex. keyer.  Topfone jack, right is Mic and I forgot 
what the other one is,  the rig is out in my R V and I'm getting old so 
can't remember a lot lately Hi Hi.
