The next meeting of GIG of Central and South Texas (GIG CSTX) in Austin is scheduled for 7 pm on October 20th at Faith Lutheran Church 6600 Woodrow Ave.  Please note that this is a Thursday evening.  Earlier this year we discussed having on a variety of days, not just Wednesdays.

The meeting will be a pot luck dinner and round table discussion.  We will talk about quick meals, that is the things you make when you do not have a lot of time to get dinner on the table.  Please bring your questions and your ideas to share with the group.

For the potluck remember that this is dinner.  We need people to bring a mix of foods, main dishes, side dishes, deserts etc.  It is important that you include an ingredient list with each pot luck item.  Some of our members need to avoid more than just gluten.  If the recipe is either original or has been changed at least 3 times, please bring the recipe.  We can publish these recipes in the recipe exchange section of our monthly newsletter.
