That's the problem with the crystal radios I have, I can get crystals 
anywhere, it's a yaesu commercial radio from the 70s and it's the typical 
crystals, not sure what they're called but they look like the standard 
uniden, regency 2 pin crystals, we've all seen them if we've dealt with 
crystals, about 3/4 of an inch by maybe an inch by 1/4 of an inch thick but 
the cheapest places to get them new was 20 dollars each so to receive and 
transmit would be $40 for one channel. Now, if I could find a set of 
crystals and fill 5 channels or 7 for $40, I just might consider it, or if I 
found cheap enough the crystals for the packet frequency I'm on, that's 
another story, I'd do it. The receive audio on the radios is awesome, rare 
for yaesu products but this is the 70s and commercial keep in mind.
