I'm not sending this to the list because I'm over my limit and this is
an issue each person needs to decide for themselves. For my part, I was
steering away from Sony's. They're good machines, but I find the high
end ones are a lot of money for what you can get in an equivalent
machine from another vendor. Also, Sony hasn't done very well lately in
numbers of reported issues and customer satisfaction, although they're
not significantly worse than the rest of the pack. I don't think anyone
who got a Sony and is happy with it made a mistake though. Like I said,
they do make a good machine, and they used to be the laptop by which all
other laptops were judged!
