Yes we have a wheelchair but also use a Miami Sun adult tricycle with
a basket for Case who is nearly 11, going into 5th grade. He loves it
and can ride himself to school. He was recently elected Vice
President of the elementary school. If he likes the duties he may run
for President when he is in 6th grade.
They are expensive but I found a barely used one on Craigs list for
175 and there is another one available in Monterey County, CA. This
morning i put Case and the bicycle on a plane back to Hawaii claiming
the bicycle was a disabled device, which it is as it allows him to
self propel longer distances, and only had to pay the extra $15 for
it. I know many kids seem to be able to ride a bicycle but Case does
not have the balance for that.
Hope everyone is well and although I read the list I don't often comment.

Aloha to everyone,

Linda
