On a past project we used Acryloid B72 to stabilize clay-soil plaster.
On that project and about 15 others over the years we have analyzed
plaster to determine what type of hair it contained. It has been cattle
hair or goat hair, never horse hair, once salt marsh grass, once flax
fiber. On the project mentioned above we recreated the plaster digging
the clay from the same river bank as the original was but we used hair
from the dog grooming parlor (spaniel I think it was), because it was
closer to the site than the horse farm.

Take care, work safe and keep in touch.
