Maybe I got off topic a bit, but I understand that you don't
want to have to drag a computer along to do everything else. I
wish we didn't have to modify and work around and make due, etc.
It's positively a pain in the back side.

What else, short of getting vision this afternoon, can
we do?

I am not angry and I don't disagree with what you are
saying, but we may have to wait a heck of a long time before one
can go to Walmart and walk out with a DVR under are arm that
talks to us as we program it or that we can buy your average ham
transceiver that talks to us well enough that we can use it and
take advantage of the bells and whistles.

Having equipment that can be accessed by a computer is a
compromise and a start in the right direction. I am 59 years old
and I remember when the only real accessibility problem was
reading meters. Remember those audio tuning aids?

Well, the technology is in a state of flux and
unfortunately, there is no way to get those screens and LCD
displays to tell us anything so we've got to go to plan B.

	Right now, Plan B is a computer. I won't be a bit
surprised if it eventually will be something like a cell phone
or some other much smaller gadget that is ours and everybody
else's link to all things electronic.
