Thanks for the many recommendations of good places to eat in San Antonio. I
feel much better knowing that there are several really good places to choose
from.

Little Aussie's Bakery and Cafe is a very good Mom & Pop operation, as is
Chicken in Paradise

Go to www.alamoceliac.org and click on Defensive Dining. Scroll down to San
Antonio to find the local places considered to be GF friendly. You can also
see restaurants listed on the website of the local gluten-free Bed and
Breakfast at www.chickenparadise.com . Click on the last section,
Attractions, Links.

I recommend Rudy's BBQ and The Cove (certified by the GFRO)

Iron Cactus (on the Riverwalk): southwestern-style, GF menu

Yard House (the shops at Cantera): steak, seafood, GF beer, GF menu

Food stores: HEB-Alon Market, Sun Harvest Farmers Market

All details can be found on our site:

In San Antonio there is a GF restaurant and bakery called Little Aussie. It
is downtown and is wonderful. There is also a gourmet Mexican restaurant
called Paloma Blanca that has a Celiac menu. Everything is delicious and we
had nothing at home that would come close to comparing to it.

Landry's Chart House on boardwalk did a great job & understood the cross
contamination issue.
