The Celiac Disease Center at Columbia University is the premier Center
in the United States that provides comprehensive medical care, including
nutrition, for adult and pediatric patients with celiac disease. The
Center is diagnosing and treating more than 2,800 patients annually from
around the world. Additional information is available online at
www.celiacdiseasecenter.org.
The Kicking 4 Celiac Foundation is a recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit
organization, focused on educating people affected by celiac disease and
promoting celiac disease awareness to the public at large. The Kicking 4
Celiac Foundation works tirelessly to raise funds for centers such as
the Celiac Disease Center at Columbia University through a variety of
meaningful charity events and sponsorship opportunities. The Kicking 4
Celiac Foundation also offers a scholarship program, to help off-set the
costs of maintaining a gluten-free diet, to college students affected
with celiac disease. Promoting an active lifestyle and including
physical activities in its fundraisers and events is at the core of the
Foundation's primary goal, which is to demonstrate the potential for
celiac sufferers to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle while
confronting the effects of celiac disease. www.kicking4celiac.org.
