I have been GF for 8 years, and came to depend on nuts for flours and
healthy snacks. Now I have been diagnosed with oral allergy syndrome
due to my pollen allergies, because I react to nuts, stone fruits and
who knows what else. Does anyone else have this problem? The symptoms
of OAS are tingling around my mouth and mouth sores if I eat these
items. I am not allergic to these foods, but the proteins are so
similar to my other allergies that my mouth reacts this way. I was
just wondering if anyone else has this problem. I also wonder if my
heavy dependence on these foods triggered the OAS reaction. Just
wondering.....
